creating an account

Creating a personal account only takes a couple of minutes and makes it much easier to place orders in the future.

Creating a personal account enables you to:

  • Get orders shipped to addresses other than your card billing address. Particularly useful if you are worried you won't be around to receive your order - get it sent to a work address instead.
  • Track your orders.
  • Sign-up for new product and special offer alerts.

i'm having problems logging in

We use 'cookies' to keep track of your current shopping session. 'Cookies' are small text files which our website places on your computer's hard drive to store information about your shopping session and to identify your computer. If you have set your computer presently not to accept cookies you will not be able to use this website. Our 'cookies' do not harm or impair your computer in anyway.

update your details

In order to ensure your orders are dispatched to the right address, it is important that your registration details are kept up-to-date at all times.

To update your postal address details:

  • Click on ‘my account' top right of website.
  • Login using your email address and password.
  • Underneath the heading ‘My Account', click on ‘view or change entries in my address book'.
  • From here you can update your primary shipping address and add alternate addresses to your address book.

It is also particularly important that you keep your email address updated since this will be the address that your password will be sent to in the event that you forget it.

To update your details:

  • Click on 'my account' top right of website.
  • Login using your email address and password.
  • Click on ‘view or change my account information', underneath the heading ‘My Account'.

i've forgotten my password

Don't worry. If you ever forget your password you can use the 'Forgot Password?' link , underneath the login box.

  • To get to the login box, click ‘login' top-right of the website.
  • Click on 'Forgot Password?' Your password will be emailed to the email account you registered on the site with (which is also your login)

i've forgotten my username

If you've forgotten your username, please email technicalhelp@ecobotts.ca stating your:

  • full name
  • postcode, and
  • date of birth

We will contact you as soon as possible with your username.

ecobotts currently accepts the following methods of payment:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • Paypal

purchasing process

We've aimed to make the process of placing an order as easy as possible. If you follow the following steps your order will be on its way to you in no time!

Step 1 - View shopping cart

Find an item you want to buy. If there are different sizes available, as with the diapers, use the 'select size' drop-down menu, next to the item, to choose the size you require, then click 'add to cart'.

Click on 'my cart' top-right of the website. Here you can view your orders, make amendments to the quantities, delete or add further items to your shopping cart.

To delete items from the shopping cart, check the box next to the chosen item and press the 'update' button.

To amend the quantities required, change the quantity number in the box next to the item, and press the update button. This will then update your order.

Once you are happy to proceed, click 'Checkout'.

Step 2 - Enter delivery details

If this is the first time you have placed an order you will be prompted to create an account.

This simply requires that you supply your address details which will be saved on our system. This will enable you to shop faster, keep a track of order status and choose alternate shipping addresses to your billing address.

All fields must be completed in order to proceed to the next step.

Please note: the address supplied to us within this section must match your credit card billing address and will be your delivery address on your initial order. Subsequent orders can be shipped to alternate addresses as you choose.

Currently, we only accept orders for Canada.

Step 3 - Enter Payment Information

You need to enter your payment card details here.

Once you have finished, scroll to the bottom of the page and press the 'Continue' button. This will take you to the confirmation screen, where you will have the opportunity to review and amend your details if necessary before proceeding with the transaction.

Step 4 - Confirming your order

Here we require you to confirm your order details and postal address details. The address that appears here is the address that your order will be shipped to.

If any details are incorrect, click 'edit' next to the details you wish to amend. When you are happy with the details, please press the 'confirm order' button to pay for your items.

Step 5 - Transaction complete

You will receive a confirmation message that your order has been processed successfully.

A confirmation email will also be sent to the email account you supplied when registering with the site. Please save this confirmation email in case you have a future query about the order.

logoff

We recommend that you click 'logoff', top-right of the website, should you have to leave your computer when part way through a transaction. This is to prevent anyone else accessing your personal account. This website does not store credit card/payment details and therefore there is no risk that these details would be accessed from your personal account.

The contents of your shopping cart will be saved for you so that you can resume the transaction at a convenient point without having to go back into the store and re-select products.
