gentle on your pocket!

Value is important. So, we decided to conduct a little experiment and see how our diapers measure up against comparable brands available at large grocery chains.

We looked at the three main 'alternative' diapers currently available in stores. The brands used as a comparison are gDiapers, Seventh Generation* and Tushies*. All of which are chlorine free, use less chemicals in their manufacture and are aimed at eco-conscious parents.

best value - Nature Babycare

As you can see from the table below, Nature Babycare diapers, purchased via our store in a Saver Box, are less expensive than the leading chlorine free brands, such as Seventh Generation and Tushies, and offer the most economical option.

best premium choice - Moltex OKO

Moltex OKO - our premium diaper aimed at heavy wetters and children with sensitive skin - offers better value for money than gDiapers and Tushies (when gDiapers/Tushies are purchased at a grocery store).

Moltex squeeze more diapers in to their packs than other brands, so whilst the per pack price may initially seem more expensive, by taking a closer look you can see that the per diaper price works out better value.

The Recommended Sale Price (RSP) and price per diaper quoted above for Nature Babycare and Moltex OKO is based on an ecobotts Saver Box (roughly a month's supply).

*Both Seventh Generation and Tushies use an oil-based plastic layer to prevent leaks which is why ecobotts do not stock these brands of diapers. This is because we believe that using oil-based plastics in a single-use disposable product is a waste of resources and that, most importantly, diapers with a plastic layer are not as effective at guarding against diaper rash.
