natural diapers?

Our range of eco friendly, chlorine free diapers use natural materials rather than oil-based plastics, to protect against leaks. Great news for your baby's bottom and the environment!

why choose eco friendly diapers?

  • 100% chlorine free
  • biodegradable outer layer prevents leaks
  • protect against rashes with natural 'breathable' materials
  • gentle on delicate skin - no perfumes or lotions
  • eco-responsible manufacturing processes

practical

With all the features of popular disposables, such as barrier leg cuffs and re-sealable fastening systems, ECO diapers are just as practical as conventional disposable diapers.

high performance

In fact, in our experience, Moltex OKO and Nature Babycare offer better performance in terms of absorbency and minimizing leaks and, most importantly, in terms of keeping the skin on your baby's bottom dry and healthy.

But, don't just take our word for it, take a look at the press reviews in our news & press section.

natural materials

The key difference is in the materials. ECO diapers use natural materials - not plastic - and are free from unnecessary chemicals which can irritate delicate bottoms.

no worries

By using eco-disposables you can avoid concerns about the side-effects often attributed to conventional disposables such as the risk of diaper rash and other irritations and concerns associated with the unnecessary chemicals used.

They can be used alongside cloth diapers for extra convenience, such as when travelling or at night time, or as a total solution for parents who don't want to use conventional disposable diapers.

responsible manufacturing processes

The manufacturers of the diapers in our range use renewable energy, less water and fewer chemicals during manufacture. The use of non-renewable resources is dramatically reduced and these diapers will break down more quickly than traditional disposables. If you choose, you can even compost wet diapers.

compostable

Of the three brands of ECO diapers we stock, two are certified safe to compost (Moltex OKO reportedly do compost but they are not certified). The breathable protective backsheets are made of a 100% biodegradable film. The absorbent pulp core is 100% chlorine free and is made from timber that has been cultivated naturally from 100% certified sustainable resources. The parts which don't biodegrade are the resealable velcro tabs - which you can cut off and put in the garbage - and the water-retaining granules, which are safe to compost (these are like the granules which are added to premium grade compost available garden centres).

All of which means that ECO diapers are gentle on nature too. Something else to feel good about!
